GGE, Felt Stars team up

Wednesday, Global Gaming Events announced it has partnered with online poker room FeltStars.com to hold two upcoming Online Forum Challenge events. The events, a freeroll and a $5 buy-in poker tournament, will take place Feb. 27 and 28, respectively, at 3 p.m. EST.
According to a company press release, Saturday’s freeroll will feature a $5000 prize pool and $500 for the best-performing online communities. Sunday’s tournament will then feature a $2000-added pot and $1000 for the best-performing forums.
Additionally, Sunday’s top 10 players will receive tickets to Felt Stars’ World Championship of Internet Poker Main Event. The 13-event championship will begin March 1, 2010, and will feature prizes such as Rolex Submariner watches and seats in Felt Stars’ weekly $50000-guaranteed tournaments.
“We are ecstatic to have partnered with Felt Stars for our next series of OFC Events,” Global Gaming Events President Jason Rosenberg said. “A $5000 freeroll is something no one wants to miss, not to mention the cash and WCOIP Main Event ticket prizes added to the buy-in.”
Global Gaming Events said Felt Stars will continue to host Online Forum Challenge events in late March and April. Players can find complete details and pre-registration forms at OnlineForumChallenge.com.
