Monday, Swedish online gaming company Tell Gaming Ltd. announced the launch of TellGaming.com. According to a press release, the online casino and poker site offers its players a chance to earn shares in the company.

The news comes after last month’s launch of Tell Casino, the operator’s first foray into gambling games three and a half years after launching its poker room, Tell Poker.

For playing the site’s table and slot machine games, participating in raked poker hands and making referrals members earn “ownership units.” Currently Tell Poker players own 20 percent of the company, which made an additional 5 percent of its equity available Jan. 4.

According to Tell Gaming’s homepage, the company paid 30000 euros ($42568.18) in dividends earlier this month. The company also said the ownership units will continue to pay profits regardless of whether Tell Gaming merges with another company.

“We’re grateful to our players and rewarding them with a stake in our company is something we are very passionate about,” Tell Gaming Marketing Manager Thomas Jonsen said. “We hope to pay an ever higher dividend to our players within the next 12 months, as Tell Gaming continues its expansion.”

Tell Gaming said it plans to use its undistributed profits “to promote growth and improve Tell Gaming.” One such improvement mentioned on the company’s Web site is its planned expansion into sports betting this spring in cooperation with sportsbook OddsMatrix Ltd.
