Thursday, Gioia International Ltd. announced it is pushing back the launch of RealDealPoker.com to March 2010. The new online poker room was originally slated to debut this month according to a press release issued December 2009.

Gioia International Chief Executive Officer Gene Gioia said Thursday the site aims to innovate the industry by offering 100-1 odds against independent auditors finding fault with its poker software. The program is the work of Red Planet Gaming, a subsidiary of Red Planet Marketing GmbH, and includes unique “burn card” and “cut function” features.

The company went on to say its Cut N’ Shuffle® system shuffles and deals real decks of cards, then translates the results into digital format. Additionally, the software’s Game Check® system will allow players to request post-game audits for an as yet unspecified fee.

According to Gioia International, Game Check transfers information on all games, including video captures of its real decks, from RealDealPoker.com’s servers to a third-party auditing agency. If a player requests an audit, the third party agency will compare the game’s results against the deck used in it.

If the agency finds any irregularities, the company will return money spent on the game to the players involved and will credit 100 times the auditing fee to the auditing player’s account.

"This is our commitment to providing a game of poker that players can trust," Gioia said. "If you want to try and prove our games are not fair, then bet me!"

While RealDealPoker.com’s launch is delayed, Gioia International invites prospective players to reserve their screen names ahead of time. The company said players can do so by going to www.realdealpoker.com.
