Victory Poker launches

Thursday, online poker room VictoryPoker.com officially launched with a charity poker tournament, “Trash Talk,” at the Las Vegas Hard Rock Hotel and Casino’s Vanity Night Club. In attendance were several Hollywood and poker celebrities and the site’s official poker team, “Team Victory.”
According to a VictoryPoker.com press release, the event featured “30 pounds of various confections,” an open bar and an unplanned photo shoot with Playboy Playmate Sara Underwood. Also making appearances were Team Victory hosts Antonio Esfandiari, Lee Markholt, Dan Bilzerian, Andrew Robl, Keith Gipson, Paul Wasicka, Sander Lylloff, David Chicotsky, Brian Rast, Alec Torelli and Danny Wong.
Trishelle Cannatella of MTV’s “Real World” won the no limit Texas Hold em tournament and, Victory Poker said, donated much of her prize money to charity. Cannatella also won a 20-pound, custom-designed crystal trophy and a seat in ClubWPT.com’s upcoming World Poker Tour Celebrity tournament.
"I believe Victory brings the true essence of the game to the player, and through our A-list poker team I hope to achieve this,” VictoryPoker.com Chief Executive Dan Fleyshman said. “Our Team Victory includes celebs, Playmates and UFC Fighters, and they will not only be playing on the site regularly, they will be getting involved with a lot of cool mainstream events."
Fellow poker pro and Team Victory member Antonio Esfandiari added, “It's an amazing feeling to be a part of a project from its inception, and to share those experiences with your closest friends is, in itself, something that cannot be explained.
“Never in my life have I been so excited for any project until Victory Poker."
VictoryPoker.com said Trash Talk raised some $30000 for the Sharon Osbourne Colon Cancer Program. The charity funds at-home help, childcare, transportation, access to support groups and care services for colon cancer patients at Los Angeles’ Cedars-Sinai hospital.
