We here at AceHoyle.com like Titan Poker – we like it a lot. It's one of the Web's new poker sites, that’s true – in fact, it’s only been around since 2005 – but it's already become one of the the best poker sites with all the promos, security and player traffic it has to offer. The cornerstone of all this is definitely its Playtech software, which gives Titan some of the best graphics we’ve seen yet, user-friendly controls, 24/7 customer support in nine languages and nearly non-existent load times, on top of a full list of poker types.
Of course, the major upside of all these great features could be one of its biggest downsides too: With so many players signing up daily because of Titan Poker’s promotions and bonuses, most of its games – especially its sit-n-gos – are extremely loose. Whether you think of “loose” games as good or bad ultimately depends on what kind of poker you’re into. If you’re what we call a “poker purist” – someone who prefers the kind of 36-hour, eye-straining online match-ups that cause aneurisms and epilepsy - you’ll probably feel a little let down by this room’s speedy play; but if you like money – like, you know, most normal people – Titan Poker’s tournaments and it’s loose sit-n-gos are likely to sate your cash-frenzied soul, with average rakes that are about twice as large as those of other online poker rooms.

The best time to get in on these loose games is during European primetime, between 7 p.m. and 12 a.m. CET, because, well, Titan Poker is also a play-by-the-rules kind of operator. It doesn’t allow anyone in a country that bans online poker, including the good ‘ole U.S. of A., to partake of its massive prizes, leaving things like its European Championship of Online Poker tournament entirely up to folks living on the sane side of the Pond.
The Euro poker crowd flocks to Titan Poker by the thousands for the room’s daily tournaments and freerolls, so it only makes sense that it would also offer satellite tourneys for every major European event. Titan's biggest tourney is the European Championship of Online Poker mentioned above. With a guaranteed $2.5 million prize pool, this is the ultimate Titan showdown. What’s more, Titan often backs its tournament winners to play in larger international events. Of course, reaching the final table in one of Titan’s enormous poker tourneys may not be the easiest way to score free baseball caps and t-shirts with Titan Poker insignias on them, but it can’t hurt to try, now can it?

This newest of new poker sites also offers plenty of action for the Canadians among us, which makes you wonder if the American Revolution was in fact the best move for the U.S. Even if you can’t get to a computer in the afternoon – possibly because you’re putting on a stand-up comedy show, selling generic medications to your disenfranchised American cousins or whatever it is Canadians do during the day – you’ll still be able to find plenty of solid games at Titan when you finally have a chance to rest your tootsies. The only real problem with the room, then, is that it doesn’t offer the shark crowd much by way of lucrative fishing grounds. This is by design as Titan’s highest limit-game blinds top out at around a 10/20 Canada dollars, making it almost impossible for any shark to raise much moolah without wasting boatloads of time. But, then again, calling low table limits a problem only applies to sharks. And for those of you who are less skilled or trying out a new kind of poker for the first time, you're likely to rank Titan among the best poker sites online.
Titan offers a 50 percent sign-up bonus of up to $200, which is definitely decent. The real welcoming, though, starts with Titan Poker’s $50 Daily Beginners Freerolls, which new players can enter for 90 days after signing up. As one Titan player once described it, “It’s like taking $50 from a retarded monkey.” After all, nobody at Titan is going to test your experience level. To them, a new player is a new player, so anyone with even a smidge of poker experience can sign up and clean up within hours. Better still, once you’ve had your fill of Titan Poker’s freerolls you can also roam around the one of the best poker sites anywhere and join pretty much any type of tourney you can think of. Titan has guaranteed prize tournaments, VIP-only events, satellite tournaments and so many daily tourneys it’d take us a whole day just to type them all out.
Titan Poker Bonuses and Freerolls
Despite it’s being one of the Web's new poker sites, it's impossible for the gang here at AceHoyle.com to give Titan Poker anything less than our No. 1 slot. Its look, feel… everything is top-of-the-line. And though naturally Ace himself prefers places where the limit games are a little heavier and there are fewer restrictions on who can sign up, he does like racking up dough with the Daily Beginners Freerolls, and even closes out his account and starts a new one every 90 days just to gets his hands on some more fishy cash.
