WHERE TO PLAY

BLACKJACK

BLACKJACK CHEATS

Online casinos pull a lot of lowdown tricks. Not only do they set insurmountable House edges, but often enough, they also punish players for using sound strategy to beat them at their own games. It’s little wonder, then, that many people who play online blackjack and other online games have no compunction when it comes to cheating the House; to be fair, you can’t rip someone off and not expect them to at least attempt to return the favor.

The only questions, of course, are how blackjack cheating works and, even more importantly, how not to get caught. In the realm of black jack secrets, these two questions may be the hardest to answer insomuch as they’re basically mutually exclusive. ”Cheating,” after all, implies “getting away with it”; if a so-called “cheat” instead gets you caught, it’s more of a “surefire route to getting your fingers broken.”

Sadly, however, we here at AceHoyle.com can’t really test any of the following cheats because, well, it would be hard to imagine the online blackjack casinos that advertise with us being keen on such activities. At the end of the day, then, we really can’t say whether these cheats work or not, and we certainly can’t describe how to pull them off. All we can really do is relay the blackjack cheats we know about and warn our readers that if they decide to try them we can’t guarantee they won’t be getting themselves into a world of trouble.

Relatively Safe “Blackjack Cheats”

Before we get into the meat of our “Blackjack Cheats” section, we here at AceHoyle.com would like to remind our readers that there are quite a few other options when it comes to off- and online black jack strategy. As detailed in our other online black jack strategy pages, for instance, you can use a combination of Basic Strategy and card counting pretty successfully in most live casinos. What’s more, as our other blackjack cheat sheets also mention, Basic Strategy by itself works equally well in online blackjack casinos and regular, old B&Ms.

These facts of online black jack strategy really aren’t what you’d call black jack secrets. Actually, every Web site with ad banners for online blackjack casinos says as much. The truth is, then, that if you just want to win at blackjack you could easily study any of these “blackjack cheat sheets” and be perfectly fine. For our part, we advise our readers to just do that. And, again, we remind our readers that if they attempt any of the tactics detailed in this blackjack cheat sheet, they’re doing so at their own risk.

Traditional Blackjack Cheats

Often comical and always obvious, the following list of tactics includes methods we’ve heard of players using in B&M casinos. Most seem more like very stupid ideas than real black jack secrets, but then again, perhaps they’ve worked for a few extremely lucky folks.

The ‘Ole Snatch-And-Run Technique

If you’re brazen enough – not to mention fast enough – you could simply snatch as many chips as you can carry and make a break for it. We suggest selecting a blackjack table close to the door if you try this one as Lord knows the carnage that might ensue if the casino’s security guards were to bottle you up in the slots area.

Card Marking

Hardly feasible in large, well-lit casinos, players often mark cards in home games by creating small, barely noticeable bends, folds and creases in the cards themselves. Usually, they create such marks on cards worth 10 points so they can tell whether the dealer has blackjack. It might, however, be a better idea to mark all the lower cards instead. That way you can kind of pull a Jedi mind trick on your opponents, who will naturally assume you’re a complete retard for marking all the cards in the deck.

Planting a Dealer

One of the best-kept black jack secrets is that casinos don’t pay their dealers more than they pay themselves. Seeing as this seems to be a fact of dealer life everywhere their employers are looking to make a profit, you could feasibly befriend an extremely talented dealer or become one yourself and run a scam right under a pit boss’s nose. If you choose the second route, be prepared to learn some sleight-of-hand tricks; if you choose the first, don’t be surprised if you get reported. Dealers, after all, do enjoy their jobs, and the good ones make a killing between tips and their salary.

Holding Out

Another use for sleight-of-hand tricks is to keep a bunch of aces up your sleeves and swap them for extremely bad cards in the game when the dealer’s distracted. Be careful with this one as casino pit crews will occasionally check the deck compositions once a shoe has been emptied – not to mention that stuffing too many aces into your leisure suit could become extremely obvious.

On-Table Swaps

A little smarter than holding out, the savvy sleight-of-hand artist will actually play multiple hands at a table and unnoticeably exchange cards between them when the dealer is distracted. This is one of those ultimate black jack secrets as, really, if your good enough to not be noticed there’s no way for the casino staff to tell you were cheating.

Tag-Teaming

Another reasonable cheat is to begin playing black jack with a partner. This can work extremely well, so we’ve heard, as a companion strategy for on-table swapping as one player can distract the dealer while the other rearranges the cards. Alternatively, it can be coupled with the “snatch-and-run” and holding out, or be used so that one player peaks at the dealer’s facedown card and the other runs a distraction. The only downside is casinos have lots of security cameras, and featuring on them is hardly the kind of fifteen minutes you and your partner are likely to want.

The Bait-and-Switch

One final cheat that’s been popular since people began playing black jack is similar to the practices of some sneakier shop keepers. Basically, you take a high-value casino chip home with you, figure out how it’s made and make a ton of fake ones. Then, you enter the casino under the pretense of being a high roller and bet with your chips using card counting, or a combination of card counting and Basic Strategy. With some skill, you’ll be pulling quite a profit, while every cent the casino takes from you is worth about as much as yesterday’s newspaper.

Alternatively, you could just walk in with the extra chips, then cash out immediately without playing blackjack, or any game for that matter. Of course, then again, casinos also keep pretty good track of how much money you’ve changed into chips and might become suspicious if you suddenly show up with the mother lode.

Cheating Black jack Software Packages When You Play Online Blackjack

The sad truth of most black jack software packages is that they don’t actually simulate live games accurately but use random number generators. What’s more, when you play online blackjack it’s usually impossible to tell how many decks comprise the shoe. The only real way to beat a black jack software package, then, is to cheat – and cheat big.

Now, naturally, some folks have enough technical knowhow to hack into online casinos’ black jack software packages, but we’re guessing you don’t. The cool thing is that that’s actually OK because, ever true to their anarchist leanings, several hackers have created programs the average, not-so-savvy Joe can use to infiltrate black jack software codes.

These programs may, in fact, be the true “ultimate blackjack cheats” as they apparently allow anyone smart enough to create phony accounts the ability to play blackjack online for sheer, unadulterated profit. One notable example of this was a team of anonymous Russians who used a program called “Casino Hack” to swindle thousands from several minor operators.

Assuming that such programs do in fact work, several of them allow players to view the results of the next deal while playing blackjack, thus giving them the ultimate blackjack edge. Basically, the online merchant s of such products say, the programs somehow trigger an online casino’s software to show the next deal in a separate window. Supposedly this doesn’t affect a player’s status in the main window, thus allowing him to accurately determine his next move every time he plays blackjack online.

Other forms of hacking software, on the other hand, allow players to inflate their chip counts when they play blackjack online. Another ultimate blackjack cheat, such a program would give players the option of never having to actually play. However, as one reviewer who explained the software on YouTube points out, online casinos will likely notice if your chip count far exceeds your total deposit.

Of course, again, we here at AceHoyle.com can’t vouch for the effectiveness of these programs. Nor can we endorse using them when you're playing black jack. Several sites offering such straightforward, streamlined methods of winning big while playing blackjack might, in themselves, be fake and only aimed at conning average players into purchasing a non-existent product.

The only surefire advice we can offer on blackjack hacking programs, then, is that you should be prepared to lose some of the money you’re investing in software. After all, in such situations, you’re only a hair’s breadth away from doing something unethical, if not illegal, so reporting that a hacking-program vendor ripped you off probably won’t win you many friends with the authorities.
