CRAPS GLOSSARY

Needless to say, no Internet gambling guide would be complete without a craps glossary. But here at AceHoyle.com our craps glossary is especially useful. In it we’ve not only included plenty of common casino terms, but we’ve also taken the liberty of tossing in some craps-based street slang.

Of course, having a craps glossary in the age of online gaming and Internet casinos might seem a little passé. After all, when you play craps online it’s a little different from playing craps at a brick-and-mortar. Gone, for instance, are the continuous ring of nearby slot banks and the jittery shouts of fellow players urging on a hot shooter. Instead, the most you hear when you play craps online is the hum of your computer’s cooling fan. It’s a far lonelier way of playing craps and obviously one that doesn’t require many conversation skills.

Still, craps has always been, and always will be, a community-based game. So, while talking isn’t necessary when you play craps online, playing craps just isn’t the same if you aren’t chatting with your fellow players. For this reason, the Ace Hoyle crew suggests that – as anti-social as you may be – you use the craps glossary portion of our Internet gambling guide and the instant message feature most online gaming sites and casinos offer at their virtual craps tables every time you play craps online.
